Product and Mobile Engineering; from Videos to Paper @ Facebook Tech Talk
Date and time
Location
W Atlanta - Midtown
188 14th St NE Altitude Ballroom - 27th Floor Atlanta, GA 30361Description
Several Years ago, 10 engineers were responsible for innovating, building and maintaining all of the products (a.k.a features) on Facebook, including Profiles, Pages, Groups, Messages, Photos, and Events. These people were our first product engineers, a role that is a mix of generalist engineer, product designer, and product manager. As we evolved into a mobile first company, a new engineering team emerged from this group, focused on developing world class apps for both iOS and Android. The interdisciplinary work our product and mobile engineering team requires doesn't exist at many companies, but we're fortunate to have these roles at Facebook.
Please join us for an insightful discussion about Videos, Paper, team organization, and the culture of product & mobile engineering at Facebook presented by Nimrod Hoofien - Director of Engineering, and Maddie Boyd - Software Engineer on Paper.
We hope you can make it!
*Please note - We will be hosting this event at the W Hotel - 188 14th Street, NE Atlanta, 30361 (Altitude Ballroom on the 27th floor)*
